Our client is an international organisation spearheading the rejuvenation of integrated precinct in Singapore. They are currently looking to bring on board their AVP of Landscape project management.
Primary Role - Landscape Design Lead
In this role you will oversee and actively monitor works on site related to landscape design, including but not limited to hardscape, waterbodies, softscape, existing trees retention on site, etc. You will be the main liaison and actively chair the design and review meetings with the landscape architects, specialist advisers, contractors and internal teams. Additionally you will conduct the review of tender and construction documentation by landscape architects - softscape tender, post-tender addendum and construction drawings and keep track of authority submissions, project status and budgets.
You will lead the construction supervision and actual implementation of landscape designs and retention of existing trees and play an active role on selection, early procuring and pre-growth of priority trees, as well as nursery coordination with the project management team.
Secondary Role - Project Administration
As the lead in this project you will be manage and care of the team's budgetary requirements including the management of the landscape and softscape construction budget. You will also be actively involved in the evaluation, shortlisting and selection of specialists and contractors for the project's design development and construction.
With a bachelors degree in Landscape architecture you will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in large scale landscape projects.
To be successful in this role you will be detail oriented with relevant work experience and have an in depth knowledge and experience in works related to planting species selection, pre-growth in nursery as well as hardscape and waterbodies design execution.
